The All Party Furniture Group

The BFC is represented in parliament by the All Party Furniture Group, which seeks to defend the interests of the industry and raise its agenda in Westminster. The APFG is chaired by Madeleine Moon MP (Bridgend) and draws members from across the political spectrum and both chambers of Parliament. It meets regularly to question senior politicians on policy related to the industry, such as the Rt Hon Angela Eagle MP (Financial Secretary at HM Treasury); Stephen Timms MP (Minister of State at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform); and key stakeholders, such as Ian Harrison from the East Midlands Regional Development Authority.
