The All Party Parliamentary Group
The BFC is represented in parliament by the All Party Parliamentary Furniture Group, which seeks to defend the interests of the industry, raise its agenda in Westminster and provides a parliamentary forum to discuss the issues affecting the sector, including the economic recovery, small business lending, and fire safety regulations. The reformed Group, under the new Parliament, is chaired by the new MP for Stevenage, Stephen McPartland MP and draws members from across the political spectrum and both chambers.
